Due to scheduling, we had to travel earlier this year, so we focused more on the beaches and rainforests instead of the mountains. We are a couple in our 30s/40s who enjoy day hikes. WebDeparted at 7:30am and drove towards Lake Crescent. Parked at Storm King Ranger Station, then hiked to Marymere waterfall. Then drove to Spruce Railroad Trail, and did a leisurely hike on that trail. Great views of Lake Crescent. We hiked nearly half the trail before turning back.
