WebAug 31, 2024 · Very enjoyable. The BC fires and two fires near Chelan had left the air fairly smoky, but not bad, but noticed there were no mosquitoes flying around, which was a bonus! The campground is over a low hill from Winthrop and about 7 minutes by car to town, and about 10 minutes to Twisp.
